
Low Sugar Cookies Series
The newly launched Low Sugar Cookies Series has been meticulously developed to achieve precise sugar control. While significantly reducing sugar content, it perfectly preserves the original delicious taste of cookies. The sugar content is even lower than Hong Kong’s "low-sugar" standard definition (≤5g of sugar per 100g).
This series uses maltitol, a natural sweetener, as the main sugar substitute. Extracted from natural maltose, this premium substitute has a pure and mild sweetness—about 75%-90% as sweet as sucrose, but with only half the calories (about 2 kcal). Maltitol is only partially absorbed by the body, making it especially suitable for diabetics and those mindful of their weight. It also isn’t broken down into acid by oral bacteria, helping to prevent cavities, so it's a healthy snack option for children.
